Nissan updates the Kicks for the 2021 model year

The Nissan Kicks will be entering its third model year when the 2021 version arrives at the Billion Auto Group showroom. Ahead of the release date for the 2021 Nissan Kicks, the automaker has given our team of product experts an extensive rundown of the compact crossover SUV’s upgrades and improvements. When the 2021 Kicks goes on sale, Billion Auto Group customers will see a few aesthetic upgrades and several new pieces of connectivity technology. Additionally, Nissan has included some new exterior colors for the new model year. Let’s take a closer look at what the 2021 Nissan Kicks has to offer before it goes on sale.Â

2021 Kicks Performance Specs
All three trim grades offered by the 2021 Nissan Kicks (S, SV and SR) will employ the same powertrain. A naturally aspirated 1.6-liter, four-cylinder will be under the hood and it will be attached to Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission. It will make 122 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. According to the automaker, the 2021 Kicks will be able to record 31 miles per gallon in the city and 36 miles per gallon on the highway.
Updated Connectivity Technology
For the first time in the compact crossover SUV’s short history, all three trims will be equipped with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system. All owners will be able to easily access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. The base S model will have a 7-inch touchscreen installed on the vehicle’s center stack. Buyers choosing the SV and SR models will be able to use an 8-inch touchscreen interface.
Additionally, the entire 2021 Kicks lineup will be equipped with Bluetooth® hands-free phone pairing and media streaming capability as well as three USB ports, keyless entry/ignition and low tire pressure alerts.Â
