2020 Jeep Gladiator performance specs
Jeep isn’t cutting corners when it comes to outfitting the 2020 Gladiator with the powertrain it needs to be the class’ top performing option. All of the trim grades of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator will be powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter, V-6 engine, which can be attached to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Drivers will be able to chew up the toughest terrain they can fine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Jeep will also be making a diesel engine option available later in its production schedule for the 2020 Gladiator.
Cargo capability
The cargo bed that has been attached to the 2020 Gladiator is very functional and not just some cosmetic accessory. Owners will be able to load as much as 1,600 pounds of gear in the back of the new Gladiator. When the new Jeep vehicle is properly equipped, it can tow up to 7,650 pounds – putting it in the running for the most capable midsize pickup truck in the increasingly competitive midsize pickup truck market.
