Nissan continues to tease the 2022 model year with new vehicle information

Nissan produces one of the most popular lineups of crossover SUVs in the automotive industry. Customers looking for a blend of on-road driving comfort and off-road driving capability will be very excited to learn about the official release date for the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. Our manufacturing partner has completely redesigned the three-row crossover SUV, updated its powertrain and made some of its most advanced technology available. According to the automaker, the 2022 Pathfinder will start to go on sale around the United States starting this summer. Let’s take a look at a few things you might want to know about the new vehicle.

2022 Pathfinder Performance Specs
Every 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will use the same powertrain. A naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine will be under the hood that will be attached to an all-new nine-speed automatic transmission. Per the information released by the manufacturer, the 2022 Pathfinder will produce 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. Front- and four-wheel-drive versions of the 2022 Pathfinder will be available. Base trim grades will be able to tow 3,500 pounds or up to 6,000 pounds when the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is properly equipped.
Interior Space and Features
The 2022 version of the Nissan Pathfinder will also be one of the most adaptable in its class of the automotive industry. When the vehicle is filled with people, there will still be 16.6 cubic-feet of cargo volume. Folding the third row of seats down will quickly expand the available cargo volume to 45 cubic-feet and owners can stow both rear rows to make up to 80.5 cubic-feet of cargo volume available.
A smartphone-compatible version of the NissanConnect® infotainment system will be standard equipment on all trim grades. This means that all 2022 Pathfinder models will have all access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. Higher trim grades will be equipped with Wi-Fi hot spot, wireless smartphone charging and wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay®.
