As we rapidly close in on the 2020 model year, a vehicle that can support smartphone integration isn’t terribly novel. However, some automakers have been slow to make this feature something that owners of entry-level models can use. Nissan is bucking that trend. So, does the 2020 Nissan Versa support smartphone apps? Which 2020 Versa trims have this?
The 2020 Nissan Versa is available in three trim grades, S, SV and SR. Billion Auto Group customers who want to be able to use Apple CarPlay® and/or Android Auto ™ will need to choose the SV or SR models. Additionally, those same trim grades can also support a SiriusXM® satellite radio subscription. Even though not every 2020 Versa will support smartphone apps, all three trims still offer a 7-inch touchscreen interface and the capability to stream media through Bluetooth. Siri® Eyes Free is also standard equipment for any owner of the 2020 Nissan Versa who also uses an iPhone.
Standard Safety Technology
Drivers of the 2020 Nissan Versa, as well as their passengers, will certainly enjoy the experience provided by the compatible smartphone apps to make their commutes more tolerable. However, that’s nothing compared to the cutting-edge safety systems that will maximize peace of mind.
Like much of the rest of the Nissan 2020 model class, the all-new Versa comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360. This will include a vast array of active safety monitors including, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning and more. High trim grades will also make Intelligent Driver Alertness and Intelligent Cruise Control available.
