The Nissan Rogue is the most popular crossover SUV on the automaker’s roster. It has stood out in a particularly competitive industry for offering efficient performance and plenty of interior flexibility. So, what are the new features for the 2021 Nissan Rogue? When the 2021 Rogue goes on sale later this year, it will be equipped with updated connectivity equipment and the automaker’s ‘Family Hub’ that will make the center console accessible by just about everyone riding in the 2021 Nissan Rogue in addition to other features. Additionally, Nissan is adding the 2021 Rogue to its list of cars, trucks and SUV to make the Nissan Safety Shield 360 system standard equipment across the refreshed crossover SUV’s entire trim ladder. Let’s take a look at a few other things future Billion Auto Group customers might need to know.Â

“The all-new Rogue was purposefully designed to meet all of the needs of today’s young families,” Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales, said in a press release. “Rogue is playing to win in the midsize crossover game with the ideal mix of expressive design, advanced technology, safety, comfort and versatility.”
What is the Nissan ‘Family Hub?’
It is pretty easy to see why the 2021 Nissan Rogue could be used as a family vehicle. The new ‘Family Hub’ is actually an umbrella term for several features designed to, ‘…provide comfort and utility for everyone in both the front and rear seats.’ As it applies to the 2021 Nissan Rogue, the revised Nissan Intelligent Key™ can now unlock the vehicle’s rear door. Additionally, a person holding the key fob can unlock all four doors by pressing the button twice. The center console is an important piece of the vehicle’s convenient features. People in the front and rear seats will be able to access items stored in the center console, thanks to its innovative butterfly doors. Â
Connectivity Upgrades
The 2021 Nissan Rogue will be equipped with the NissanConnect® infotainment system that will also offer access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. Drivers and passengers utilizing the Apple suite apps will be able to wirelessly connect their compatible devices to the infotainment system, thus eliminating at least one set of cords. Some trim grades will also be available with wireless smartphone charging.
