From almost the very day it arrived at the various Billion Auto Group showrooms, the GMC Terrain has been a hit with buyers. Once the release date for the 2018 GMC Terrain arrives at any of our dealerships, customers will fall in love all over again. For the next model year, the 2018 Terrain has been completely redesigned. In addition to several new exterior and interior elements, the compact GMC crossover SUV is around 700 pounds lighter than previous versions. These changes have resulted in a vehicle that is more nimble and more efficient than just about anything else in its class.

“GMC’s strong growth over the past decade is due in large part to Terrain, which introduced a new generation to this premium brand,” Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing said in a press release. “The all-new Terrain builds on that success, leveraging GMC’s proven SUV experience to shake up one of the largest vehicle segments, with a strong blend of design, functionality and engineering excellence.”
The 2018 GMC Terrain is scheduled to arrive at dealerships around the country this summer.

Billion Auto Group customers will have three engines options on the release date for the 2018 GMC Terrain. The automaker has included a pair of turbocharged options, a 1.5- and 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines. However, the big story surrounding the power plant options for the new Terrain is the all-new turbocharged 1.6-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine. The inherent efficiency of the 2018 GMC Terrain will only be bolstered by the new diesel engine technology.
When someone takes the 2018 GMC Terrain for a test drive, they may be a bit of a loss when they go to put the crossover SUV into gear. The manufacturer has replaced the traditional shifter with a push button system. GMC studies have shown that drivers get used to this new system in pretty short order; plus, the change allows for more useful storage options.
