Six Functions
The GMC Multipro™ Tailgate offers six convenient functions to help drivers get the most out of their pickup. To help minimize effort and maximize achievement, GMC has introduced this high-tech and innovative approach to the tailgate. These six functions include the primary gate, the primate gate load stop, easy access, full-width step, inner gate load stop, and inner gate with work surface.

Primary Gate
You can open the primary gate using the key fob’s power release. You can also do this from the inside of the truck or from a button on the gate itself.
Primary Gate Load Stop
When the primary gate is open, the load stop helps to prevent items from sliding out of the box, keeping your gear secure and your day running smoothly.
Easy Access
With this function, the gate folds down for easy access to the box, increasing the speed and agility with which drivers can load and unload the box.
Full-Width Step
The inner gate of the truck bed can fold into a large step making it easier to enter and exit the box. This step will hold up to 375 pounds.
Inner Gate Load Stop
The inner gate includes a load stop that helps to prevent second-tier items from sliding out of the box.
Inner Gate with Work Surface
You can expand the functionality of your truck bed by utilizing the inner gat’s work surface.
