2 Ways You are Damaging Your Car
- Not maintaining the proper tire pressure. If you haven’t checked your tire pressure in a while, now is the best time to do it. If you are operating a vehicle with the improper amount of tire pressure you run the risk of getting poor fuel economy and you will also have to buy new tires much sooner than you expected. Save yourself some money by filling up those tires with the right amount of air and you’ll get many more miles out of them.
- Excessive braking. If you are the kind of driver that waits a little too long to hit the brakes when approaching a stop sign or red light, you might just be causing some serious damage to your brake system. The more you times you brake hard, the sooner you’ll have to replace your brake pads, rotors and calipers which can all be expensive and more money than you’re willing to spend.
