Nissan updates technology available in the 2021 Kicks

What is new for the 2021 Nissan Kicks?
The lineup of Nissan crossover SUVs available for sale or lease at the Billion Auto Group showroom covers much of the automaker’s range. Today, we are most concerned with the subcompact member of the family and how it is being upgraded for the new model year. So, what is new for the 2021 Nissan Kicks? The outside of the 2021 Kicks is getting some refreshed elements, however, the bulk of the small crossover SUV’s updates will be technology-focused. For the first time, owners of the 2021 Kicks will have a smartphone-compatible infotainment system equipped on all three trim grades. Additionally, the automaker has added the 2021 Nissan Kicks to its list of vehicles equipped with its suite of active safety features.
2021 Nissan Kicks Technology Features
We are very connected to our smartphones. The ability to integrate smartphones into a commute has been a real game-changer for owners of other Nissan models. All three 2021 Nissan Kicks trims (S, SV and SR) will offer NissanConnect® Services. Drivers and passengers with compatible Apple® and Android™ phones will be able to use the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. This will provide access to navigation and multimedia functionality like podcasts and streaming music or news. The entry-level S trim will be equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen to control these features. Owners of the other two models will have an 8-inch touchscreen.
If that isn’t enough connectivity, Nissan has also made a high-speed 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot available on all trims. Multiple Wi-Fi-enabled devices will be able to use the mobile internet connection at the same time.
Standard Safety Features of the 2021 Nissan Kicks
Like the smartphone-compatible infotainment system, all 2021 Nissan Kicks models will be outfitted with Nissan Safety Shield® 360. Drivers and passengers will be protected by a large array of systems including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind-Spot Warning and more.
